U.S. Mint Releases Glacier National Park 5 ounce Silver Coin

WASHINGTON - The United States Mint will open sales for the 2011 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin - Glacier National Park (Montana) on October 25, 2011, at noon Eastern Time (ET).

Large Roman Coin Hoard Unveiled

Local metal detector enthusiasts Jethro Carpenter, 43, and Mark Gilmore, 47, discovered more than 3,800 coins in a clay pot at Bredon Hill, near Evesham.

Hoard of Iron Age Gold Coins Found with Metal Detector

The 67 Iron Age coins were discovered by a metal detector in October last year but details of the find, described as significant by a curator at the British Museum, were only made public last week.
